About
Let’s get to know one another well.
Hi, I’m Pam Moeller! Welcome.
I am an ICF Certified Professional Leadership & Equity Coach and Team Coach, with 30 years experience in education, 20+ years creating and building leadership development systems, and 15 years coaching more than 200 leaders and coaches.
I am joyful, energetic, caring, and collaborative. I will walk side-by-side with you towards the transformation and impact you seek. I value growth, honesty, justice, community, and family.
I am deeply invested in:
Coaching relationships that support leaders in becoming their higher selves. Leaders I coach with create life-changing impact with students, teams, mission-driven organizations, and patients. They grow in their practice and progress in their careers.
The Coaching Communities of learning and care I have nurtured. We learn, grow, and care for one another in support of transformational results with the leaders we coach. I cherish the relationships I have with each coach and the relationships they build with one another in community.
Long-enduring, leadership development systems that change lives. Since 2001 I have been part of building KIPP’s leadership development systems. I partner with teammates to create professional development focused on all aspects of leadership.
Collaboration with partner coaches to benefit clients.
My self as a learner. It is my ability to evolve and welcome change that allows me to support others with transformation.
My life partnership with my husband, my loving, learning, laughter-filled family, and friendships so close that they extend my family.
I lead and coach by leveraging my strengths in appreciating beauty and excellence, zest, love, gratitude, listening, curiosity, and boldness. I follow through consistently with attention to the human dynamics of our work.

In 2024, I joyfully launched Pam Moeller: Coaching. Community. Consulting. I partner with leaders, communities, organizations, and human beings seeking transformational growth.
Prior to launching this business, I led for 24 years at KIPP Foundation, helping the organization grow from 2 to nearly 300 schools. During KIPP’s early years, I helped design and lead the KIPP School Leadership Program’s Fisher Fellowship and Pathways programs and KIPP’s first leadership competency model, supporting the leadership development of thousands of leaders. In 2024, I led a cross-network team to substantially refresh KIPP’s Competency Model, which is streamlined and represents KIPP’s evolved understanding of leading with critical consciousness and leading for equity. It now forms the anchor of all talent systems across the KIPP network.
From 2015 to 2024, I led, nurtured, and grew KIPP’s Leadership Coaching Program, which serves 280 leaders annually across the KIPP Network, and has developed thousands of leaders since its founding in 2009. The Coaching Program substantially aids in the retention of leaders at KIPP, particularly BIPOC leaders, and supports the thriving, growth, and success of KIPP leaders across the network. The Coaching Program raises themes of inequity at KIPP and works to address those themes at their roots. The 44 Coaches in KIPP’s Coaching Community work together as a team and a community of care and learning. Intentionally cultivating that community, coaching leaders and coaches have been my greatest professional accomplishments and sources of joy.
Today, I continue to coach KIPP School and Regional Leaders and am honored to be a continuing member of the KIPP Coaching Community. I am a founding member of the FOX Fellowship, where I lead by cultivating the team of FOX Coaches who coach new CFOs and COOs in high-growth organizations across the charter sector.
I have been formally coaching leaders since 2009 and am both an ICF credentialed Professional Leadership and Equity Coach and a Team Coach. My purpose in Coaching is leader empowerment, supporting leaders in showing up as their most powerful, higher selves and in making their organizations places of thriving, belonging, and impact, while achieving the goals most important to them .
I hold a B.A in Psychology and French from Dartmouth College. I began my career as an English teacher in Paris on a Fulbright Scholarship and as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group before attending Stanford University for Masters Degrees in Business and Education. I am a proud spouse and mom of three adult children. I love running, hiking, biking, gardening, and reading.
Many of the photographs on this website come from hikes and adventures in places special to me. I chose the fern as my logo for several reasons. Ferns symbolize rebirth, hope, transformation, and change, all aspects of the learning that comes through coaching. There are many types of ferns that thrive in different contexts, just as I try to support different leaders in transformation in different contexts. Fern plants grow above and below ground, and both parts benefit from tending. Similarly, human beings display skills and behaviors that are easy to see and also grapple with deeply held beliefs, values, emotions, and identities that lie below the surface. In coaching, community-building, and consulting, I support leaders in paying attention to how what is below the surface impacts what is easier to observe in their behaviors. I loved and was fascinated with these plants as a child and continue to love watching them grow both at home in CA and when I find them growing in forests around the world.
My oldest adult children helped me design this website and my logo, and my daughter has offered the hugs that keep me moving forward. My husband gives me daily encouragement as I launch this venture with a focus on growth, joy, and love.
